Shannon "Brushed" Aside; Kent Drives to HoH Status
Sitting with Julie in the studio, Shannon explains that she campaigned for eviction to make it easier on the other HouseGuests. "I try to make others happy, but it doesn't work that way," she says. Regarding the toothbrush incident, Shannon says she did it because life in the House had made her regress to adolescence, but that she wouldn't have let Hardy use the tainted brush. When asked about her future with Will, Shannon is non-committal, saying that "If things are meant to be, they'll happen."
Hardy's plan to break up Chill Town was successful, but now a new Head of Household will be selected, with his or her own agenda. In a game called Higher/Lower, the Houseguests stand blindfolded on individual 3-step podiums and listen to questions asked by Julie over the loudspeaker. If they think the answer is higher or lower than the one Julie gives them, they step up or down on the podium. One wrong answer and the HouseGuest is eliminated. Will, Bunky, Monica and Krista are all eliminated on the second question, then Nicole two questions later. Mike and Kent face off in a sudden death question that Kent answers correctly, making him the new Head of Household.
