Jee makes his first move as Head of Household, nominating Erika and Michelle for eviction after what has been an emotional week for both of them. While Erika is shedding tears over her relationship with Robert, and Michelle is tearing up from her nomination, other HouseGuests are bellyaching over the plight of their empty bellies. After a stomach-turning Food Competition, half the HouseGuests are condemned to a Peanut Butter and Jelly diet. But the housemates' growling tummies aren't distracting them from the game, and Dana's alleged disloyalty is becoming apparent to everyone in the House. Will Dana's scheming make her a target as a replacement nominee for the Power of Veto?

Power of Veto holder Dana opts to "respect the Head of Household" and keep the nominations intact, securing an eviction for either Amanda or Jee. With Scott's early exit, festering relationships between the exes and an impending eviction, life in the House is tense, but will a little romance relieve the pressure? The HouseGuests cast their votes, and Amanda is the first HouseGuest evicted in a unanimous decision. Meanwhile, her fellow nominee has a different fate and a major promotion, as he becomes the new Head of Household.

When fellow nominees Jee and Amanda discuss their predicament as they sit in the backyard, Amanda understates her situation by saying "it's been a stressful week." But other HouseGuests are feeling the pressure, too. Exes Erika and Robert try to settle old feuds, but their differences appear irreconcilable when Robert tells Erika that they are "not friends." Erika breaks down in tears, upset over Scott's unexpected departure and the strain of living with an unwelcome member of her past.

With the first nominations in place, Amanda and Jee must rely on both strategy and the Power of Veto to secure their places in the House another week. In a close contest, Dana wins Power of Veto and the power to change the course of the game. Will she use it save one of the nominees?

Conflicted by his feelings for his ex Amanda, especially after her nomination for eviction, Scott becomes reclusive, choosing to sleep during large parts of the day and drifting from one social group to another. The tension suddenly explodes, however, when he tosses furniture around the House and delivers an expletive-laden rant, in which he also refuses to go to the Diary Room when called there by producers. He later apologizes to his housemates, who nevertheless say they feel uncomfortable because of his actions. Finally, Scott does go to the Diary Room, never to return, as he was removed from the House and expelled from BIG BROTHER.
