After Dustin’s eviction, Jameka and Amber question Eric’s game

Slop Pong food competition results in half the house on slop

Daniele nominates Amber and Jameka for eviction

Jameka and Amber Nominated
Thanks to Eric's America's Player vote, power ping-ponged around the BIG BROTHER 8 house last week, allowing Dick to evade eviction. Proving herself to be quite the power-player Daniele snagged her second HoH and surprises no one when she nominates Amber and Jameka for eviction.

An Enigma Wrapped in a Riddle
The fallout of Dustin's unexpected eviction leaves his allies, Amber and Jameka, shocked. "I knew people were eventually going to come after us, just not like this," Amber weeps in the diary room. Dick is left scratching his head with thanks for his miraculous survival. "Wow, who would have ever thunk it…especially with my behavior earlier this week?" Jessica considers Dustin's departure all part of her end game, whereas Eric is thoroughly enjoying his America's Player moment. "America…the blood is on our hands and [it] feels good!" Daniele smirks that after repeated attempts to get her and her dad evicted, they are still in the house. In the moments after Dustin's departure, Eric tries to apologize to Jameka for his betrayal, but she suspects something deeper is going on. "Nothing makes sense," she confides in the diary room as Amber weeps over being "played." Seeking out Jameka, Amber looks to her for an explanation as to what went wrong with the votes. Jameka has realized there is a new level of fraud in the house and answers with a sigh, "That right there shows you some shifty, shady [stuff]." Jameka blames the outcome on Eric, which she finds ironic since Dustin's vote saved Eric from being evicted last week.

Friends Close, Enemies Closer
Daniele wins the HoH after Amber knowingly gets a question wrong about the number of cards on the Mad Hatter's hat. "I knew there were six, but seven is my lucky number so I hit true thinking, seven is my lucky number." Daniele couldn't be "any happier" with her second HoH win and even her dad describes the victory as "storybook." Eric and Jessica are psyched as Eric grins, "We aligned ourselves with Dick and Daniele and that risk has paid dividends immediately." Daniele is all smiles as she approaches Eric and Jessica grinning, "You guys are suckers and you're going up." Eric laughs nervously as Daniele continues to mess with their heads until she walks away, thanking them for their support last week. In the privacy of a bedroom, Dick and his daughter make plans for her week as HoH. Dick's advice is to make sure her nominations are not a "committee" decision and she assures him it won't be.

Jessica and Jameka steal some quiet time outside the HoH room. Jessica trusts Jameka and "wants to keep that close bond with her." She explains to her housemate why she changed her support, but Jameka digs deeper asking Jessica about Eric. "Are you sure that he's not in any other side deals?" Jameka asks, adding, "I don't know, something just doesn't add up…something ain't right with it Jess." The conversation is cut short when Daniele and the other HouseGuests turn up to reveal Daniele's new HoH room. Dick grimaces when he spies a picture of him and his daughter at his son's graduation. Zach notices an absence of photos of her boyfriend and Eric smirks when he sees that Nick has sent Daniele a letter that looks like it came from a teenage girl.

Later in the evening Daniele joins Amber outside to check on how she's doing. Amber is down in the dumps over Dustin's eviction, feeling vulnerable. "If you feel like I am a threat to you, or [you] want me out, do it," she wallows. Daniele reveals she doesn't know what she's going to do this week, so Amber says she will support her regardless of what her decision is. Daniele smiles but is not moved by her housemate's pledge of support, confiding, "Strategically, it does not change my opinions of Amber at all."
