Recently, Brande Roderick teamed up with her "Starsky & Hutch" co-star, Snoop Dogg, for the feature film "Hood of Horror," set for release in Fall 2006. Also recently, she shot a television special for "Celebrity Fear Factor." Roderick's other feature film credits include "Starsky and Hutch," opposite Ben Stiller, Snoop Dogg and Owen Wilson, and "Out of Control," an all-Indian production.
Within her first year in Los Angeles, Roderick landed a co-starring role in the hugely popular Aaron Spelling drama, "Beverly Hills 90210." She followed that with a string of guest starring roles on shows like "Just Shoot Me," "Jesse" and "Love Boat: The Next Wave," as well as being cast in a string of national commercials for products like Snickers, Mentos and Dr Pepper. Roderick's big break came in 2000 when she was asked to audition for "Baywatch Hawaii." During Roderick's screen test, executive producer/writer Frank South felt she "hit it out of the park" and gave her the starring role of Leigh Dyer in the enormously popular show, which is syndicated to countries all around the world.
Roderick followed "Baywatch" as one of the stars in "The Surreal Life." She also reprised her Leigh Dyer role in the Baywatch reunion movie, "Baywatch: Hawaiian Wedding."
Since arriving in Los Angeles, Brande Roderick has trained under famed theatrical coach Ivana Chubbuck, as well as with Howard Fine and Jim Crenna. Her outside interests include playing softball in her local league, hiking in the canyons with her cocker spaniel and bowling.
