The Almighty One has done it again. I mean, he really outdid himself this time. Talk about mysterious ways… So the three idiots, Gaby, Elle, and Dylan? They've been harassing me, for like, weeks now. And today it seemed endless. Even after school, I ran into them at this coffee cart and they threw my purse onto the ground and laughed like that was the best practical joke ever. Seriously. That's the best they could come up with? Anyway, as I was leaving I see Dylan bent over right in the middle of the frickin' street with a car coming straight at her. So I yanked her stupid butt out of the way. I mean, what if I hadn't been there? Of course, I didn't just "happen" to be there, did I?

You know that weird show Surreal Life where all the washed up celebrities live together? Please don't let me end up on that show. Not that I'm a celebrity but my life has gotten pretty surreal. I got written up in the paper, interviewed at school, and--this is the really weird part--Dylan is being nice to me. I know I saved her and everything, but it's not like I'm Superman or anything. Maybe Wonder Woman. She was cool…

Whoa, I am like a major celebrity at Arcadia High School! One minute I'm Joan Girardi, Uber-Sub-Defective, and the next minute I'm a hero for saving Dylan. Now everyone's all "Hey, Joan!" and "Look, it's Joan Girardi the hero" and whatnot. People can be so fickle. But I like it when they're fickle in my favor. And now Dylan is seriously weirding me out. She's like, trying to get attached to my hip. All I did was react. Like any normal person would. And the best our genius Creator can tell me is "help her see." Help her see what? What a blockhead she is?

Should have known. I should have known, should have known, should have known. It was all a set up. Thanks again, Your Holyness. At the award thing, in front of everyone, all these questions start getting thrown at me, and then Dylan starts to wonder if I really did save her life. She just completely turned on me and now everyone thinks I'm a fraud. What's up with that?

Dylan got a taste of her own medicine today. When Gaby and Elle found out her mom's a waitress they totally turned their backs on Dylan. Sometimes I wish I were the kind of person who found comfort in others' misery. Turns out Dylan's just a nobody. I mean that literally; she's led her life completely by what other people think or do. She has nothing of her own. I guess that's what You Know Who meant I should help her see. See for herself.
