 Porschla Coleman & Vanessa Scheffler
First up in the Model category tonight was Porschla Coleman, who grew up in a small town in Mississippi. After Porschla's Fashion Walk, Ben Stein joked, "Forget Wilhelmina. She can have a contract with me! Gorgeous, a kind of amateurish walk, but very, very sexy," and gave her 4 stars. "Those were some lucky cows in Mississippi," quipped Carol Leifer, giving Porschla 4 stars. Lance Bass gave her 5 stars, saying, "I'm from Mississippi, and we know how to grow 'em there!" "Walkin' that walk; talkin' that talk," commented Naomi Judd, who gave Porschla 3 stars.
The second Model was Vanessa Scheffler, who is very fond of horses but sold her horse so that she could model. After Vanessa's Fashion Walk, Ben Stein gave her 4 stars, commenting, "Very, very gorgeous; a little bit of a jerky walk." "You have a great look," noted Carol Leifer, adding, "you could loosen up a little when you're out there," and gave Vanessa 3 stars. Lance Bass gave her 4 stars, adding, "Southern belles are so beautiful." "Happiness is the best cosmetic; it doesn't wash off at the end of the day, either. You're beautiful; smile more," advised Naomi Judd, who gave Vanessa 3 stars.
The judges favored Porschla over Vanessa 16-14 stars, and the home audience agreed with that decision. When home scoring was tallied, Porschla Coleman won the category with 32 stars and will advance to tomorrow night's Semifinals. |
