Andrea Diaz, Kim Harlan & Porschla Coleman
The first Model tonight was Andrea Diaz. After her swimsuit walk, Ben Stein gave Andrea 3 stars, commenting, "She's beautiful, but I did not think she did quite as well as the last time." Calling Andrea a "stunning gal," but "a little strippery," Carol Leifer gave Andrea 4 stars. Tyrese gave Andrea 5 stars, quipping "black men love a big butt and a pretty face!" Noting that Andrea's "body language was saying some pretty suggestive stuff," Naomi Judd gave her 4 stars.
After second Model Kim Harlan's swimsuit walk, Ben Stein gave her 5 stars, saying, "That's what a model is supposed to look like." "Stunning, gorgeous," commented Carol Leifer, giving Kim 4 stars. Tyrese gave Kim 3 stars, and Naomi Judd told her "3 stars, but fearless self-confidence."
The third Model was Porschla Coleman, whose swimsuit walk inspired Ben Stein to give her 4 stars and comment, "I like the way she looked at me as if she would slap me if I didn't give her a high score." "She's so thin, but she still has junk in the trunk," said Carol Leifer, giving Porschla 5 stars. Tyrese gave her 4 stars, and quipping, "It don't mean a thing if it ain't got that swing, and you got the swing," Naomi Judd gave her 2.
The judges favored Andrea, but when home scoring was tallied, it was a three-way tie at 29 stars each. As the rules dictate, the home audience totals determined the winner: Porschla Coleman, who scored highest with 14.4 stars from the home audience, won the Semifinals in the Model category and will return for the Finals on Thursday, February 6.
