 Candace Campfield & Janet "Chy" Huang
Candace Campfield, who aspires to a career in medical sales, did the first Fashion Walk in the Model category tonight. Ben Stein pronounced her "P-stone funkadelic!" and gave her 5 stars. "Forget the medical sales," Carol Leifer advised as she gave Candace 4 stars, "you'd just wind up selling those heart paddles to people." Aaron Carter gave her 4 stars, along with a compliment: "You did great. You had a lot of energy and you've got a beautiful smile." "She's got beauty and brains and heart," agreed Naomi Judd, giving Candace 4 stars.
The second Model was Janet "Chy" Huang, who declared that, despite her nickname, she is not at all shy. Ben Stein described her as "stone solid gorgeous" and gave her 3 stars because she was "a little bit amateurish in the walk." Carol Leifer agreed with Ben, giving Chy 3 stars and telling her, "You have a great look. It's a nice combination of exotic, but also kind of wholesome." "What can I say? You're beautiful," smiled Nick Carter, giving Chy 4 stars. Naomi Judd told her "You need a little bit more of the polish" and gave her 3 stars.
The home audience scored exactly as the judges had, favoring Candace over Chy 16-13. With 32 stars, Candace Campfield won the Model category tonight and will return for the Semi-Finals next Thursday. |
