Welcome, and thanks for being here to chat with us today. Kim Powers: Hi, thank you! boo_hoo_kims_gone: Kim, I was totally thrown off guard. I was SURE Lex was out. What happened? Kim Powers: Well, since I was the last remaining original Samburu member, it was just basically time for me to go. I think the Boran alliance was very strong, and at that late point in the game I don't think anyone was willing to take a chance, because their alliance had worked so well for them. kristine: Hi Kim. It's my first time to chat with a Survivor and it's 3 am here. I am up because i want to ask u: what do u feel about the votes and how you were betrayed? Kim Powers: I don't really feel like I was betrayed in being voted off. I think it was just a matter of how the game went and every person who cast a vote for me last night had something nice to say. keeper_tere: What was the reason that you wanted to vote for Lex? Was he as bad as he seemed on TV? Kim Powers: I voted for Lex last night because he'd had so many previous votes against him that I didn't think one more was really going to matter, as well as there was the tiny opportunity that Kim J. might decide to vote for Lex at the last minute. KIM_P_ROX: When you voted for Tom, did you just pick someone from that group randomly to protect Lindsey? Kim Powers: The reason that we voted for Tom was because we thought the vote was going to go three and three. In a tie, we knew from our previous experience that it would come down to trivia, and we thought Tom would be the weakest at the trivia. KIM_POWERS_ROCKS: Kim, what was is like when Tom gave you a bath? Did he see anything that he maybe shouldn't have? Kim Powers: [laughs] Well, I hadn't had water on my body for thirty days at that point. I was filthy and needed a shower desperately. It felt amazing, and if he saw anything he shouldn't have, good for him!
