KimRocks: Kim, what was the first thing you did when you got home from Africa? What was the first thing you ate when you left Tribal Council? Kim Powers: The first thing I ate when I left Tribal Council was ice cream, and the first thing I did when I got home was eat ice cream. [laughs] mfp13: Why did you break your engagement, and do you have a boyfriend now? Kim Powers: I called off my engagement because it was the right decision for both me and my ex-fiancé. It would have been a mistake for both of us to get married. I'm single now. I_LOVE_YOU_KIM: What did you get for Christmas? What are your plans for New Year's? Do you have any unique family traditions for the holidays? Kim Powers: I got a really beautiful leather scrapbook for all my SURVIVOR stuff. I have no plans for New Year's. In my family we do these crazy stocking gifts and give each other toothpaste and deodorant and all kinds of goofy little things. chocolate_milk_girl: Kim, just out of curiosity, how did everybody's teeth stay so white? I don't think any of the episodes so far showed anybody brushing their teeth. Kim Powers: I think our teeth looked so white because we were so tan and dirty, but we also used sticks to clean our teeth. There are special sticks in Africa that the Massai actually use as toothbrushes and you can snap a branch and it will thistle like a brush. survivor_fanatic: Did you eat corn products again? Kim Powers: [laughs] I've eaten a lot of caramel corn, but that's pretty much it. GO_ETHAN: Kim, in retrospect, would you have formed a different alliance in the beginning? If so, with whom? Kim Powers: In retrospect I don't think that our tribe should have been split the way it was, and I would have done everything I could have to join the two split parts of the tribe back together. boo_hoo_kims_gone: Do you feel that Lex talked everyone into voting you off? Kim Powers: No, I don't think it was just Lex that wanted to vote for me. I think it was the strong Boran alliance of Tom, Ethan, Lex and Kim, and it was their next logical choice. KimProks: Kim, you were the last of your alliance to be voted out. What did you do to stay less of a target then the others? Kim Powers: I think I was much less vocal than everyone else. I was much more guarded and I caused less controversy than the others.
