Survivor Host: There are tons of great questions, so let's get started!! If you're just joining us, we're chatting live with Linda Spencer. To ask Linda a question, please type it in the space below and click "Ask the Survivor." We'll get to as many of your questions as we can. Let's get started!!!
Hi Linda! Welcome, and thanks for being here to chat with us today.
Linda Spencer: Hi everyone! It's great to be here!
AfricanGoddess: Hi Linda, what spiritual lessons did you bring back with you from Africa
Linda Spencer: That's a very good question...oh boy. I think the spiritual lessons I brought back are basically the ones I took with me. They were reinforced. Be yourself, be compassionate and try to give 110% each day.
jumbo: Linda: I understand you are a big fan of SURVIVOR & SURVIVOR: THE AUSTRALIAN OUTBACK . What did you learn & take with you to Africa
Linda Spencer: I learned from watching the shows to be yourself, but to try not to be controversial, to try to fly below the radar, so to speak, and to try and be a good listener and get people to trust you and to like you.
Dpst: Who did you find attractive in your tribe, and please be honest
Linda Spencer: That's a tough one! Everyone who was out there I think was good looking. No one was unattractive in my tribe or the other.
iris_nectar: Were the tin food cans being thrown away Why not use them to boil water
Linda Spencer: Firstly, we didn't throw them away. We couldn't recycle, but we tried to keep them in one place. About boiling water in them: they were too small and we had this big open flame and the cans would have just melted.
QueenoftheJungle: Hi, Linda! Did the split of the Samburu tribe because of age and social standing affect the way you played the game Can you put the split in perspective in terms of the SURVIVOR game
Linda Spencer: The split was totally unexpected. I know it was definitely a mistake to split so early, and I think it's unfortunate that it split along the generation gap.
