Kymber23: My 15-year-old daughter and I cried our eyes out when your family members came out for that Challenge. Was it bittersweet to see your sister for such a brief moment?
Robert DeCanio: As much as it was a phenomenal experience to see my sister, I was also happy that she didn't win for the simple fact that I loved that she saw where I was and what I was doing but I wouldn't want her to have to sleep in the dirt, eat the food we were eating and deal with those flesh-eating bugs the way we had to deal with them.

Cincinnati4Rob: Was your sister still there after you got voted out?
Robert DeCanio: No, I didn't get to see her again until I came home.

Samurai: General...what did you think about Kathy's son?
Robert DeCanio: Pat is a real nice guy, very good hearted and good natured and it only goes to show that he comes from the coolest Mom in the world so why shouldn't he be a cool kid.

CincinnatiFan: Did Kathy's son fill you in on current events? What was the thing you were most surprised to hear?
Robert DeCanio: That the Jets were still in the run for the playoffs! *laughs*

Roadkill: What's the most embarrassing thing that happened to you on the island, that wasn't shown on TV?
Robert DeCanio: There wasn't anything that embarrassed me. I'm not embarrassed by anything that I do, so it's a hard question for me to answer. There were no embarrassing moments.

Mommarabbit: Rob, what was the worst day on the island for you?
Robert DeCanio: Well, by far being voted out but after that probably watching John, Tammy and Gabriel leave.

LongtimeFan: Robert, who did you click with early on in your tribe? Did any of your first impressions change?
Robert DeCanio: The only first impression that had changed on anybody was probably on Neleh-that she wasn't as naive and innocent as I once thought but that she was a player as much as anybody.

mommaloveshercolby: Were you as bothered by Neleh's "princess" attitude as some of the others?
Robert DeCanio: I never saw that princess attitude like the others did. At times I saw Neleh not working as hard as others, but that never bothered me.

trixie: Why didn't you pursue the alliance with Kathy?
Robert DeCanio: I didn't pursue it because there really was very little talk. She discussed the game slightly with me and it never really developed any more than that. She seemed to have wanted to keep her word to Paschal, Neleh, Sean and V and you can only admire the lady for doing that.
