ERIC'S IRE
As the beauty queens took off in their taxi, Eric & Danielle arrived at the tower stunned to see their faces plastered once again on the Yield sign. After shouting an expletive and flipping them off, Eric stood on the mat simmering about the best friends, adding, "I have no respect for Danny and Oswald any more." Waiting for their partners below, a guilty Oswald admitted to Mirna the transaction they completed with Dustin & Kandice. Later, Mirna commented, "I was definitely disappointed. Oswald & Danny made the deal with the beauty queens. That's like making a deal with the devil." After Danny completed the jump with his usual flair, he remarked in the taxi, "There's no way to explain to Danielle and Eric what our consequences were for Yielding them. It was bad karma versus no money." After Charla touched the ground with a wild cheer, Mirna relayed the story of the Yield, adding, "It's going to motivate [Eric & Danielle]. People just don't realize sometimes the Yield backfires."
As a very motivated Eric jumped off Macau Tower for his Team, Oswald & Danny arrived at Lou Lim leoc Garden in first place after the beauty queens' taxi driver briefly became lost. The best friends opened their clue to find a Detour having to choose between Noodle and Dragon. In Noodle, Teams made their way two miles to the second floor of a building to choose a noodle making station. Then they had to use traditional methods to flatten the dough and cut it, making two bundles of noodles. In Dragon, Teams made their way nearly one mile to a nearby warehouse. Once there, they had to choose a dragonhead and a drum and carry these awkward items 3/4 of a mile through the streets of Macau to a dock and find dragon boats. When they attached their dragonhead to the one boat it matched and handed their drum over to the coxswain, they would receive their next clue.
COME RIDE WITH ME
With a stroll down memory lane for Oswald & Danny, who performed a task with a dragon costume during season two in Hong Kong, the best friends made the obvious choice to revisit their past success by heading to the warehouse for their dragonhead and drum. However, almost as an omen of things to come for the best friends, rain began to pour in the streets of Macau as Oswald & Danny entered the taxi cab that would give them a gigantic headache. It became apparent to both of the frustrated passengers that their driver really had no idea where he was headed. Trying to keep his sense of humor, Oswald joked, "God grant me the patience to withstand the things I cannot change and the intelligence to hide the body of this man once I'm done killing him." Their frustration reached new heights when the driver pulled over at the harbor where the dragon boats resided which was the end of the Detour, not the beginning. A stunned Danny said, "I can't believe he doesn't know this." After receiving new directions from a local, the driver insisted he now knew where to go.
OODLES OF NOODLES
Arriving at the noodle making station, Dustin & Kandice laughed when they saw that the traditional methods meant sitting on a giant piece of bamboo and bouncing up and down to flatten the dough. Always game for any task, Kandice began "riding the pony" in Dustin's words to make the dough an acceptable thickness. After the duo flattened it to their liking, the pair rolled the dough and began slicing it to form the noodles. However, when the beauty queens presented their noodles to the judge, he declared them too thick, forcing them to flatten and cut a new piece of dough.
As Oswald & Danny finally picked up their dragonhead and drum, cousins Charla & Mirna began flattening dough with Dustin & Kandice. An amused Kandice loved the cousins' technique, noting, "It just looked like some crazy movie. They were making us laugh." Through the smiles, the beauty queens managed to slice their noodles razor thin to earn their next clue. Opening it, the pair learned they had to travel one mile to a street where a Mini-Moke, a small car, would be waiting for them along with their next clue. Arriving at the Mini-Moke, the beauty queens discovered they had to drive five miles to the island of Taipa and find the Pit Stop at Triho de Taipa Pequena 2000.
