PERFECT 10: ANOTHER HOUSEGUEST OUT
Josh is feeling the heat of being a nominee, admitting that he's doing anything he can to avoid eviction. He tells Roddy he thinks he's hiding his anxiousness well, but Roddy sets him straight, telling him in no uncertain terms that he isn't. Tonya complains that Josh's antics amount to campaigning against her, something he swore he wouldn't do. Eric feels that the guys vs girls aspect of this eviction is not a big deal and states his loyalty to Lisa. Lisa, unaware of Eric's trust, says, "Guys don't have loyalty." Eric asks Lisa what the girls talk about when they're not together, and Lisa tells him they rarely talk about strategy. Immediately afterwards, she confers with Chiara and Danielle in an effort to make sure a girl isn't evicted this week. With the girls targeting Josh, Roddy tries to come to his rescue, focusing on Jason and offering him a place in the alliance. Jason accepts, but says later in the Diary Room that his true loyalty is to Danielle. Then Roddy hears from Tonya that Josh questioned Roddy's agenda and said that Roddy has a "motive behind everything he does." Without mentioning Tonya, Roddy confronts Josh, who denies saying it, despite the fact that two others confirmed Tonya's story. Josh goes to Chiara, thinking she's the one who told Roddy this story and gets angry with her. This lack of trust forces Roddy to rethink his stance on things. He considers whether he should save Tonya or Josh.
DIVIDED BY FOOD
After the last Food Competition, Chiara, Danielle, Gerry, Eric and Tonya are on a peanut butter and jelly diet, while Jason, Roddy, Lisa, Josh and Amy are free to eat whatever they want. As a result, tempers flare. Amy cooks fragrant food that tantalizes the PB and J HouseGuests, and Gerry says that he finds it very difficult to be around the others while they're eating. Things boil over when Tonya thinks Amy has gone outside to talk about her to the others. She charges outside and pointedly states that Amy should say things to her face if she's going to talk about her. Amy claims that she hadn't said anything about her. Tonya replies, "I'm not one you want to screw with." Marcellas goes inside and sticks up for Amy, telling Tonya that Amy hadn't said anything. He reminds Tonya that she's on the eviction block and should be on her "best behavior." Josh sees the confrontation and hopes that Tonya's outburst will change Jason and Danielle's perception of her in his favor. While voting, Eric remembers that Tonya told Danielle, who holds the Power of Veto this week, that she should be saved because she avoided conflicts in the House. But then she has these fights with Amy and Marcellas, so Roddy votes to evict Tonya from the House. Amy mentions that Tonya was true to herself in the House, but that she didn't have anything more to offer than "her enhancements," and also votes to evict Tonya.
HOME IS WHERE THE HEART IS
Back home, Josh's girlfriend Merritt is concerned that people aren't seeing the sweet side that she knows he has. She mentions his integrity as one of the reasons she wants to marry him and have "little Joshes" someday. In Las Vegas, Tonya's boyfriend David is also thinking of marriage, albeit "somewhere down the line." He says that Tonya is a great Mom and one of the "sweetest, most respectful" people he's ever known. In the second round of eviction voting, Gerry and Chiara both vote to evict Josh, evening the count at two apiece.
THE MAYOR OF CHILL TOWN
Catching up with four more of the HouseGuests from BIG BROTHER 2 shows that, for the most part, time has offered them the opportunity to reflect on what is important in their lives. Monica, still living in Brooklyn and working part-time at the candy store, misses her cousin, who was never found after the 9/11 tragedy at the World Trade Center. In her family, cousins are like sisters, and Monica declares she's still healing from losing her. Sheryl, who was diagnosed with breast cancer soon after leaving the House, is cancer-free. Chemotherapy was a mind-over-body experience for her, brought about by her philosophy of finding solutions to reach her goals. Bunky uses his celebrity for charity, doing "The BunkyMania Tour" on the road. He's still with Greg, his husband of 13 years, and jokes that they'll be together for another 35, but no more than that. BB2 winner Will has spent his time and money traveling and "hanging out." He has his medical license in California and has a Florida license pending. Overall, he says he was "great before the show, and I'm great after it."
