DRAMA-RAMA
Unhappily reunited, each pair of exes chooses their own way to deal with their past loves. Amanda and Scott have delighted the other HouseGuests with their seemingly limitless capacity to argue about everything, and are never at a loss for harsh words. Meanwhile, Justin and Alison seem to be burying the hatchet. Or are they? Lounging comfortably on a bed and talking in hushed tones, the two former lovebirds make amends, but how sincere are their intentions? Alison later admits in the Diary Room that she is "going to have to be nice, and then stab him in the back." She's not the only person looking to evict an ex. Robert reports that he is "here to play the game," and that if Erika stands in his way, "she's gone."
SWEET DREAM OR WORST NIGHTMARE?
The five who were late to arrive are given Bed Passes, which allow them to choose any bed they want, thereby condemning members of the "Elite Eight" to sleep on couches and cots if they choose to use the pass. Michelle, Amanda and Justin opt not to use theirs, for fear of making fast enemies, but Robert and Jee are more concerned with getting a good night's sleep. Robert uses his pass to take Alison's bed in the Desert Room (where his ex, Erika, sleeps). Furious over losing any beauty sleep, Alison runs to Erika and says that Robert now has two enemies in the House and that he "is the first one out." Jee then claims Dana's bed in the Circle Room. In a full New York accent, Dana tells the others that Jee has "messed with the wrong person."
Their new sleeping arrangements decided, the HouseGuests settle in for some Z's. The final sleeping arrangements are: Erika, Jack, David and Justin in the Desert Room; Scott, Jee, Robert and Dana (roughing it on a cot) in the Circle Room; and in the Love Room, Jun and Amanda are in one bed, and Nathan and Michelle are in the other. Much to Nathan's chagrin, Michelle proves herself a prodigious bed hog.
RISE AND SHINE AND INTO THE SLIME!
The HouseGuests have barely rubbed the sleep from their eyes, and already the talk is back to the "X Factor." Jun and Jee are in the dirt-dishing lead as they spill their story to anyone who will listen. But soon, a heartwarming part of their past comes to light. Jee explains how Jun helped him through the death of his father, and that he will always be grateful to her, despite the rough times they had. Jun tells the same story, saying she had made a bedside promise to Jee's father that she would take care of Jee after his father passed away.
After the morning of story telling, the HouseGuests assemble in the backyard clad only in bathing suits for their first Luxury Competition. The prize: a key to the coveted hot tub. But in order to get the key, they must win a competition called "Shiny Hiney." Before them is an inflatable pool filled to the brim with goopy green slime. The object of the game is to cover their bodies with as much slime as possible and transfer it into a bucket; get enough muck in the bucket and win a key to the tub. The catch: slime can only be removed from the body by another HouseGuest. The HouseGuests jump straight into the slime, running back and forth to the bucket. Although Dana is delighted to "rub Nathan's body," the slime from their skin and hair wasn't adding up. A switch in strategy does the trick, and the girls start filling up their swimsuit bottoms, while the boys make good use of their pockets. Their slimy strategy works, and they win the key to the hot tub.
