TO TRUST OR NOT TO TRUST? THAT IS THE QUESTION
Erika is barely civil to her housemate Jee, who is responsible for her placement on the chopping block, and Jee admits that "she's taking it pretty tough." On the other hand, sweet nominee Michelle isn't sweating this week's eviction, saying she hasn't "been worried." But should she be worried? Robert, Jee and Justin are confident that Erika will be evicted in a unanimous vote, but others in the House think keeping Erika in the game could be beneficial.
Meanwhile, Jee and Jun have formed a secret alliance, and are in covert cahoots, even speaking Korean to each other when discussing strategy. Jun says that "things are understood" between herself and Jee, and that after a six-year relationship, few words are needed between them. But that's not to say they're above exchanging unkind words in front of their roommates to throw off the scent of their alliance. Jun says most of the arguing is real, and indicates their "underlying disdain" for each other. But is Jee confident in their bond? As he mulls things over, Jee rewrites Shakespeare: "To trust her or not to trust her? That is the question."
Julie greets the nervous HouseGuests with a few questions, beginning by asking Robert and David how they feel about having their exes on the chopping block. Dave jokingly says that it's "great," and Robert chimes in that it's "just part of the game," adding that he's "happy [Erika's] leaving."
IT'S ALL RELATIVE
What do the families of exes Michelle/David and Erika/Robert have to say about the X Factor? Michelle's mom says that despite her apparent naïveté, Michelle "does know what's going on." Her dad adds that the banter between Michelle and David is friendly, and that their relationship is "almost like a brother/sister relationship." Dave's mom chimes in to observe that Dave doesn't seem attracted to Michelle anymore, and continues to say that her presence in the House "doesn't deter him" from exploring other romantic avenues (remember the Amanda rendezvous?). Meanwhile, Erika's mom says that Robert's unexpected entrance in the House was like "seeing a ghost," and she feels that Erika's "very giving" disposition is perhaps altered by his presence, given the fact that Robert "betrayed her." Robert's real life roommate makes no excuses for his friends, saying that Robert is "a dog," and "as bad as it gets" when it comes to the ladies. Robert's only remark is that he wants to get Erika's "ass out" of the House, but will his plan for her eviction work?
Host Julie Chen speaks privately with current Head of Household Jee to get some insight into his take on the game. When asked how far his alliance with Jun will take him in the game, he replies that he will "use her" for his advantage, but he may "stab her in the back" if it benefits his position in the game. He also says that as HoH, he's been able to recognize "who's telling the truth," and that he is certain Erika will be voted out unanimously, according to plan.
