Robert may be Head of Household this week, but Alison continues to dominate the House, playing all sides and every angle. After a Veto Competition that required both mental and physical skills, Alison won the Diamond Power of Veto, which gives her the power to take herself off the block and decide who will be the next HouseGuest evicted. Now that Ali has the power, she holds both Jun's and Erika's fate in her hands.
BIG BROTHER FITNESS TREND: GOSSIPING
Robert says that it's a "great feeling" being the Head of Household, but Erika points out that with the Diamond Power of Veto this week, being HoH "doesn't really mean that much." Robert continues to strategize with a seemingly disinterested Erika, who says that she thinks Robert's sudden clinginess is due to loneliness in the House. After much pestering, Erika promises Robert they'll take each other to the finals, even though she says Robert's constant strategizing is "annoying."
Meanwhile, Jun and Alison--who seem to be on a strict regimen of eating, working out, and gossiping--burn calories by bitching about Robert and Erika, whom they call "liars" and "losers." The two take multi-tasking to a new level, simultaneously doing crunches and exchanging nasty words about their housemates. Somehow, they still manage to keep count of their sit-ups. Although Alison's muscles are strong, Jun feels that Ali's biggest "weakness" is being on the block, and she knows Ali will stop at nothing to get that pesky Power of Veto.
ALI CLIMBS HER WAY TO THE TOP
The pressure in the House is reaching a boiling point, and the HouseGuests are all feeling anxious and paranoid. The strategizing has become so intense that the HouseGuests' only break from the game is an afternoon group nap. Even a midnight potty break can turn into an impromptu scheming session. Jun wakes up at 1:00 am to use the bathroom, and Erika follows her into the bathroom to have a private word with her. Alison, who apparently sleeps with one eye open, sees Erika follow Jun, and she heads after her, busting up the midnight conference. Jun and Erika try to play it off, and the three sit silently--in a strange battle of wills--for over half an hour before going back to bed.
With only four people left in the House, this week's Power of Veto will be the last, and the most important. The Diamond Power of Veto winner not only determines who will be nominated, but--as the only voter--also decides who will leave the House.
The HouseGuests head outside, where they face a pyramid with four sets of stairs leading to the top. Each step represents a week in the game, and the players must place two placards on each step with the names of the two original nominees for each week. Once the correct two names are on a step, that step will light up, and the player can move on to the next step. Once all the steps are lit up, they can run up their flight of stairs to the top, where the Diamond Power of Veto sits on a pedestal. First person to grab it wins.
The HouseGuests hustle, sorting through name placards and placing the nominees' names on the steps. Jun and Ali are neck and neck, but Jun puts an incorrect placard on the final step, and Ali beats her to the top, where she holds the Veto symbol over her head and jumps up and down, "Rocky" style.
