THE GREATER GOOD
Janelle and Howie take a trip to the HoH Room to talk with April. They ask for a compromise to nominate Ivette as a pawn with Janelle. April mulls it over, saying, trust her. Janelle feels "sick" over the situation, not willing to trust April.
The shrinking group assembles for the Nomination Ceremony. Howie and Janelle look worried as they take their seats. James suspects he is going to be back-doored this week, and even Ivette becomes paranoid, wondering if this is all an elaborate ruse to nominate her and Beau, the last remaining pair in the house. As expected, Janelle and Howie are nominated. James' suspicions that he is being set up are confirmed after he asks April if she is going to use him in the Power of Veto Competition. April declines, saying she is using her "somewhat partner," Maggie. "The fix is in," James sighs. April reaffirms her position to Maggie and Ivette outside, asking that the girls follow through with her plan. Ivette is loath to guarantee she will not try to save James and petitions Maggie to change her mind. "It will be seen as going against April" and the Friendship, Maggie gravely warns her.
LUCK, BE A LADY TONIGHT
The PoV Competition is called. April pairs with Maggie, Janelle sticks to the plan, pairing with her enemy, Ivette, and Howie picks Beau. James is the competition host. After the selections, James remarks, "At that point, I was done."
"Playing It Dirty" is the name of the game as the housemates assemble for some muddy fun. James sets out the rules. Each player is assigned a lane filled with mud. The aim is to retrieve a number of keys from the mud, unlock the locks on the Veto symbols at the other end of their mud-lane, carry them back through the mud, and slot them into the panel back at the other end of the lane. The first person to get all four veto symbols into the panel wins the Power of Veto. But wait, there's more! There is a bonus prize in this competition. There is a Silver Veto included with the locked Veto symbols. Whoever unlocks the Silver Veto first wins the combination to the second safe in the Gold Room.
Janelle's main target is the Silver Veto prize. Finding the Silver Veto key, she snags the mystery prize, prompting Beau to snipe, "Fricken lucky bitch." April digs deep in the competition and pulls away from the field to win. James' take on the game is more apt, as he sighs, "It sucks to host your own funeral." Over Janelle's win, April whines, "Janelle is, like, the luckiest person in this game. It makes me sick!"
Janelle and Beau run upstairs to open the safe to find a Travelocity voucher detailing her prize: a trip for two to the Bahamas. Howie guffaws, "Janey's golden locks are magical." "I dream of Janey," he laughs, asking her to blink them to the final two. The Friendship have had enough of Janelle's good fortune, deciding that she should be evicted as she wins everything. "As long as Janelle is in this house, no one else is going to win a prize," Ivette complains.
