DELICIOUS, DELIGHTFUL & DOWNRIGHT DEVIOUS

BIG BROTHER IS BACK
It seems as if the 14 new BIG BROTHER 8 HouseGuests have followed the white rabbit down the hole and emerged into Alice's Wonderland. From gigantic furniture to hobbit-sized beds this unsuspecting troupe enters into a world of twists and turns, secrets and lies and unexpected encounters as six of them are brought face-to-face with people from their past that they'd hoped were gone for good. Why endure a summer of sycophantic schmoozing, blatant brown-nosing, back-biting, back-stabbing and bitching? For the half-million dollar prize-money and bragging rights, after all; to be the last HouseGuest standing is to be a member of an exclusive survival club.
Host Julie Chen welcomes the first 11 HouseGuests to their decked-out Alice-inspired abode. Julie names the first four randomly selected HouseGuests to enter the house: Carol, Joe, Mike and Amber run to claim their beds before the others join them. Joe is impressed with the tall beds made especially for "a big boy," and can't resist claiming one. Next in are Nick, Danielle and Jameka who find their bedding choices more limited, and have to settle for hobbit-sized beds. Amber gets busy eyeing Nick, gushing, "There's like, sparks there for real." Kail, Jen, Eric and Zach are the last to move in. Jen balks at claiming a tiny cot as she's used to a king-sized crib, and is further disappointed that none of the guys in the house is attractive to her either. Kail loves the quirky appeal of the house as Joe sighs, "It's like Alice in Wonderland."
THROUGH THE LOOKING GLASS
After some quick introductions, the HouseGuests dish their 411. Amber, a cocktail waitress from Las Vegas is first to give her details. Carol, a college student from Kansas, is next and Danielle is all smiles as she reveals she's a waitress from Orange County. Beverly Hills nanny Jen is next, immediately ruffling Carol's less well-endowed feathers, prompting her to snipe, "I don't think she is a person of substance because of her enormous, giant boobs." Kail, a multi-business owner, undersells herself to her housemates admitting only to being a real estate agent.
As the men start to dish about themselves we learn that Eric, who doesn't look a day over 18 by his own admission, is a marketing assistant from New York. Next up is Joe from Chicago who works as a receptionist in a children's hair salon. Nick takes an immediate shine to Joe as he is "different and open to expressing himself." Kail on the other hand is less liberal minded, admitting she would be heartbroken if any of her children chose "a gay lifestyle." Nick tells everyone he is from Minnesota, prompting a squeal of, "Oh doncha know" from Joe. Joe is already lining up to be Nick's number one fan, later gushing, "Hands down Nick is the most gorgeous. Are you kidding me, he has great hair!" Zach, a graphic designer, follows and it's up to Jameka, a school counselor from Maryland, to wrap up the introductions. The group shares a toast to their new housemates and to a great BIG BROTHER 8.
