A new season dawns...

As we continue to mourn the loss (temporarily) of JERICHO, the networks are presenting us with an array of potentially great shows !!

Eleventh Hour looks good for CBS, Fringe is fantastic on FOX, 90210 has potential on The CW  and more..

Nothing will compare to Jericho, but if you look hard enough, I am sure you will find a good scripted show for you to enjoy this coming season.

Of course the Jericho team is on shows, Loomer is working on Raising The Bar on TNT, Sprague Grayden is on Sons of Anarchy on FX and will be seen on 24 on FOX, Claire Carey will be seen on the series Crash on Starz, Michael Gaston will be on a pilot called Last of the Ninth for premium cable, Junction is working on Harper’s Island mid season on CBS and dont forget Carol Barbee, she has been hard at work on Swingtown and I am sure she is going to have another great series for us to enjoy soon !!!

Lets create a spot on the Jericho board, where we can put notices of our Jericho friends and their upcoming works.

There is a little radio show that talks prime time TV for the most part. We are on weekdays at 3pm PT, its called TV Talk.  Join us and talk about your returning shows and your new favorites.

Save Jericho..again !!

The pressure has been building since the last episode of the second season of Jericho, the pressure is to find a new home for Jericho.

Fans have called CBS/Paramount, Comcast, Scifi etc..

Fans have sent letters and postcards in as well…

Fans have raised money for ads in the Hollywood trade papers once more..

Fans have raised money for an enormous billboard in the shadows of the broadcast and cable network headquarters and studios…

Fans have even raised the money and created a TV ad that is bombarding the area around Hollywood…

The never say die attitude is alive and well in the Jericho fandom !!

Who will see the passion of the Jericho fans and decide, lets do it again??

The show that changed TV, is still very much alive !!!

Find Jericho A New Home Billboard is UP !!!

Looming larger than life over the Studio City Mobil gas station,
located at 11001 Venturaa Blvd Studio City, CA 91604.
The sign went up earlier today.
We hope to get some pictures and a video up soon.

A great effort by all of us, again working together to pull off the impossible.
I am sure other shows producers are sitting back and saying "how do we get fans
like Jericho's?"

To the ones that worked out the logistics and to all of us who donated what we could,

WE DID IT !!!

Lets hope the billboard triggers some good news from CBS/Paramount and
Nancy Tellem soon!!

The JERICHO effect and scripted TV

With the news on Friday, it may be hard to look beyond the sadness and anger.

But I urge you to while fighting for more Jericho, to look beyond those feelings.

The Jericho effect has forever changed TV.

The internet, iTUNES and etc are now elements that the networks and cable networks will have to take into account at a higher level than ever before when figuring out a TV series popularity.

Jericho showed all of TV that if you have a compelling show with a unique web presence, the viewers will come.

Dan and Karim said on my radio show Friday night, that the new shows they are working on will all have a similar web presence and interactivity with the viewers, that Jericho has. I would say every new TV show will follow the Jericho model.

Returning shows like Terminator the Sarah Connor Chronicles, undoubtedly will ramp up its web presence and fan interactions.

Also, we must not shy away from scripted TV, either on the networks or on cable. As long as the balance between scripted and reality is still tilting towards scripted TV, the fight is still on.

Great minds are creating some terrific new shows for us to fall in love with. It is incumbant upon all of us to support scripted TV. Watch the new shows in the fall, dont be afraid to fall in love with a new show. Support your new favorites and get active on their websites and forums.

Every TV show on the air risks getting cancelled, its just the way things are with TV.

We must hang in there and support these new shows coming on in the summer and fall as well as our returning favorites.

The minute we give up on scripted tv, we and all of TV will be the losers.

I for one do not want to look at TV in 5 years and see a wasteland of reality shows.

So while the fight for Jericho rages on, lets continue to fight for good quality scripted TV. Keep your eyes out for familiar names involved with new shows and give them a chance, I know I will.

We owe it to everyone on Jericho to stay in the fight for good scripted tv series.

Thank you

Why We Fight...for more JERICHO ?

We fight on for a third season of Jericho, because its the best show on TV !!

The story is so engaging that you cannot help but to be drawn in..

Of course the characters have all been brought to life by a great cast in such a way, that we truly down to our core believe in these characters and hope for the best for them.

The music is so complimentary to the show..that too pulls you in even more.

And the way the show is filmed, it is of theatrical quality.

To me each episode of Jericho is a movie of the week.. each episode is like a chapter in a book.  The first book was great, this abridged second book is as good if not better than the first book and I for one cannot wait for the third book.

Jericho is a show that is worth fighting for..for the cast, the crew, the producers, support staff and for us the fans.  We are all in this fight together.

Win or lose, TV will never be the same because of Jericho and Jericho will live on forever in our hearts and minds forever…
