Luke and Grace are a thing? Did I overdose on crazy pills? I never would have put them together. That’s like a crowbar dating a tomato. They’d have tangy, buck-toothed, children of steel. Hey, that sounds cool actually.

I’m so psyched for Grace’s Bat Mitzvah. If only I could say the same for her. You Know Who insisted I help, so we went shopping for a dress. You’d think Grace wearing a dress is about as believable as Tom Hanks being stuck in an airport for a year, but she tried some on and she looked great. Even weirder is I got to meet her mom. Soooooo cool! Can’t believe Grace has been hiding her all this time.

I’m the worst friend ever. No wonder Grace is ignoring me and calling off the Bat Mitzvah. I just found out her mom’s an alcoholic. What kind of friend am I? How could I not know that? Judith and I used to tell each other everything. Why can’t it be the same with Grace? I’m trustworthy aren’t I? In 7th grade when Carly Ross went with us to the fair and she threw up on the Tilt-A-Whirl, did I tell anyone? No! I blamed it on Luke and no one was the wiser…

Grace’s Bat Mitzvah was so cool! They put her in this chair and picked her up and bounced her around while singing songs and it was awesome! I mean, I wouldn’t trust anyone to do that to me, but, she looked happy. Grace, happy. That’s like one of those, uh, whaddayacallit…something-moron thingies, right?
