SURVIVOR Host: There are lots of great questions, so let's get to as many as we can! If you're just joining us, we're chatting live with Survivor Ghandia Johnson. To ask Ghandia a question, type it in the space below and click "Ask the SURVIVOR." Hi, Ghandia! Thanks for spending some time to chat with us today. Are you ready for some questions?
Ghandia: Yes, I am! Bring it on!
Jeff_Probst_Is_Sexy: Were you surprised that Helen voted for you, or did you see it coming?
Ghandia: I saw that coming. I realized that Helen had to make a move strategically to assure her own self-preservation on the show. She's a competitor, and I respect her competitive streak. She was just doing what she had to do to stay in the game. If the situation were reversed, I would probably do the same thing.
SURVIVORnumber1fan: How do you feel about Helen after she voted you off?
Ghandia: I respect Helen. When I saw her comments last night on camera about how she believed me, that meant a lot to me. Helen was just doing what she had to do.
Go_Brian_Go: Ghandia, now that you can think back, what would you have done differently to stay in the game?
Ghandia: I probably would have accepted the apology and then let it go, and whatever hard feelings or retribution or revenge I wanted to enact I wanted to save that for later in the game.
justsurvivn: Why didn't you let the thing with you and Ted drop after you he talked?
Ghandia: Because I was still very angry. I felt that his explanation for why he did it was lame. I was also upset that I had to confront him about it. It would have been way different if he'd come to me.
cathy: Ghandia, do you honestly feel that you did not give any mixed signals to Ted?
Ghandia: Yes. He's married. He shouldn't be looking for any signals from anybody.
Honeybunnysmom: Ghandia, what will you take away from this experience?
Ghandia: Awesome question! I will take away the fact that I grew as a person, because I really learned a lot about myself and my limits and how I could push those limits and still be all right.
Meli: Ghandia, do you think you played this game strategizing, or with emotion?
Ghandia: I'd say it was 60% strategy, 40% emotion.
Tyler2000: What made you want to be on SURVIVOR?
Ghandia: I am an avid fan of the show. I've been watching it since the first episode. I'm such a fan that I started a SURVIVOR enthusiast group at my work. Plus just to push myself. I looked at this as the last great adventure I wanted to take.
kimmie: What did you do after you were voted off? Did you stay in Thailand for a while, and if so, what did you do there?
Ghandia: Once I got voted off I ate, drank beer and did some sightseeing, some elephant trekking, got some good shopping in. I got to see lots of the country. I got to see really awesome temples, eat excellent Thai food, then just party! I had lots of fun! And slept in a bed, thank God. [laughs]
