SURVIVOR Host: If you're just joining us, we're chatting live with Survivor Christy Smith. We'll get to as many of your questions as we can. Let's get started! Hey Christy! Thanks for being here today. Are you ready for some questions?
Christy: Yes, I'm ready for questions!
Geetz: First of all, I would like to commend you on your efforts in SURVIVOR. You truly are a big role model to everyone. You being voted out was really a surprise for all of us. Did you hear anything going around camp that made you feel suspicious that there was something going on against you?
Christy: No, I had no idea. I was just as surprised as everyone else last night.
I_LOVE_CHRISTY: Hey Christy, are you shocked Rob got Matt and the two girls against you?
Christy: Yes, I'm very shocked that they voted against me.
SilenceIsGolden: Hi Christy. Great job on the game. What were you thinking telling Rob you weren't sure if you were still with him?
Christy: I was thinking that could I really trust him? Could I really have an alliance with him? I wasn't sure and it cost me my vote.
SURVIVORBecca: Christy, in Alex's chat, he said that you probably would feel as if you are not portrayed accurately on the show. Is this true?
Christy: No, I feel I was portrayed as accurately as anyone else. I was able to be shown persevering, the different obstacles I had to go to, and I was like everyone else: trying to win a million dollars!
Shannoncroft: How has it been to watch the show and see what people were really thinking in the Amazon?
Christy: I was really surprised on several confessionals of the contestants. Rob got me good. He was more sneaky than I thought he was.
frogman: Christy, I was so upset last night to see you get voted out of the Amazon. I was rooting for you throughout the entire game. At the end of the show, you called Jenna and Heidi your "evil stepsisters." Do you have any ill will toward Matt or Rob, because they voted for you as well?
Christy: I have ill will against Rob and Matt, but not as much as Jenna and Heidi, because I'd been with them since day one.
canadaluvschristy: What is your relationship with Butch like?
Christy: Butch is a great, older male role model. He said positive things, he was very persistent, he had patience, didn't complain. He was just a neat guy to hang out with. A special person.
CammY: Christy, why did you trust Rob? He is a jerk.
Christy: Because Rob treated me like a person. He treated me nicely; he was funny. He had all of us in his fingers. I'm not the only one.
hereweare: Looking back ,do you wish that you had told Rob what he wanted to hear?
Christy: Yeah, I wish I played his game, to keep me in the game longer. But I realized I couldn't be a snake like him. That's not who I am.
SURVIVORSigner: Christy, is there any player you'd be happy to never see again?
Christy: Jenna.
RobIsKingOfTheJungle: Christy! We were laughing at your evil stepsisters comment. Are they really as bad as they are being made out to be? And why didn't Jenna ever talk to you about strategy?
Christy: I think Jenna was intimidated by the fact that I was different and scared by me. Yeah, they're bad. When you're a person like me who enjoys being around people and enjoys company, when they don't include you it hurts your feelings and makes you think "Is there something wrong with me?" She didn't want to have anything to do with me.
Grumby: Christy, I was really hoping you would win the game. Laying low seems to be a good strategy. Now that you are voted off, in hindsight, would you have done anything differently if you could do it all over again?
Christy: I would make out with Dave!
SURVIVORSigner: Christy, what did you do to prepare for the game?
Christy: I drank a lot of milk shakes, I went on a backpacking trip to reflect on who I am, where I am in my life and what I want to get out of this experience of being on SURVIVOR.
dylan659: You rule, Christy. Did you watch any of the first 5 seasons? If you did, who was your favorite Survivor?
Christy: Well, I never watched SURVIVOR before I was on it, but I was able to watch the one in Australia, I believe, and I really liked Tina. She has a lot of similar characteristics that I have.
TheAmazonQueen: What was the hardest challenge for you?
Christy: The hardest challenge was to overcome the communication limitations that I have and not let that stop me.
SilenceIsGolden: Hi Christy. During their groveling session, it seemed like Heidi did all the talking. Did Jenna ever grovel?
Christy: No, Jenna wasn't involved. She just stood there and looked and hoped that I was going to hop over with them.
