SURVIVOR Host: There are lots of great questions, so let's get begin! If you're just joining us, we're chatting live with Survivor Heidi Strobel. We'll get to as many of your questions as we can. Let's get started! Hey, Heidi! Thanks for being here today. Are you ready for some questions?
Heidi: Oh, yeah! Bring it on! [laughs]

Rookie: Heidi, after seeing Christy's demise when she claimed at Tribal Council that she was in charge, what in the world made you make a suicidal statement about the guys being scared of you at the very next Tribal Council?
Heidi: [laughs] It definitely wasn't a sucidal statement. I knew that I was going to be voted off. It was one last jab at the guys, but I definitely knew I was going.

Realwife: Heidi, it seems you went out like Deena, Alex and Christy, a little too confident. What do you think?
Heidi: [laughs] I definitely wasn't confident. If anything, I knew that I was going out. [laughs]

Willy_Chilly: Heidi, I thought you played with great respect. Did you have a plan going into the game; and if so, what was it?
Heidi: First of all, thank you very much. Secondly, my beginning strategy was to lay low on any attribute that I might have had. Once I saw that the guys really were wowed over by the girls, I thought it would be to my advantage to use what physical assets I had. Obviously, in the end Rob caught on to my intelligence in the game.

SAGE: Heidi, from your final comment at the end of the show, you sounded like you had a lot of fun. Do you realize now that it is a GAME and that Rob was just playing?
Heidi: Oh, I realized then. I realized then it was just a game, and I did have a lot of fun. I always was very aware that it was just a game, and that's why I got so far. The people that wore their emotions on their sleeve are the people that were easier to manipulate.

Kitkat: Good afternoon Heidi. How did you feel when you heard Rob say "two girls, one brain split in half, divided in two leaves one half-wit"?
Heidi: [laughs] Definitely, Jenna and I had many different views about many different things, but to people in the game and the viewing audience, we may have become "one" because we were always together, sticking up for each other, making the same moves in the game. So whatever the half-wit thing is, if that were true I don't think Jenna and I would have gotten as far in the game. Obviously, we're just as intelligent as him.

toyota91: Heidi, were you surprised when you found out that you were going to be voted out before Jenna?
Heidi: I wasn't surprised. It was definitely the smart move, I think, for the guys. You need to take out your strongest player, and they were very smart in doing so.

DanieuB: Hi Heidi. It appears you have taken over Jerri's title of "The One We Love To Hate." How does that sit with you?
Heidi: [laughs] You know, if you met me in real life, I am a very kind, sweet, sensitive, loving person. In the game of SURVIVOR I couldn't bring those traits with me because there's no way I would have made it so far. So what people are commenting on as far as me being like Jerri is that we played the game as athletes. I think that's what people are commenting on. It doesn't really bother me; all they're seeing is Heidi the athlete.

Craigen: Hey Heidi, what was your reaction when everyone said they wanted to see you in Playboy?
Heidi: Shock. [laughs] I cannot even believe that people would say that about me. I was flattered and flabbergasted at the same time!

briantheking: Heidi, would you do a nude photo shoot in Playboy?
Heidi: [laughs] You know, honestly I feel like thank goodness they've never put me in that position so I don't have to make that judgement call. I'll cross that bridge when I get there.

Melsuji: Heidi, why didn't you leave your pack for Jenna if you were so close to her? I mean, you could have left her a coat or something.
Heidi: I did leave her everything. I left her everything I had. I left her my jacket, my clothes--that's why I wore the buff as a shirt the last day--so she could have everything.

seawatre: Heidi, WHAT were you thinking of stripping on TV? Egads! You are a teacher.
Heidi: [laughs] I was thinking of one thing and one thing only: starvation vs. food. That was it. Not for attention, not for a million dollars. Many, many days out there I was wondering if I was even going to be alive the next day. So when food was offered for things I had to do, I did it. I would do it again rather than starve to death. Once again, I'd like to add I didn't go out there playing the game as a teacher. I would have lost horribly.

whatwereUthinking: Have you been suspended from your school for taking your clothes off?
Heidi: No, not at all. Not at all. There were about two people from the school board that had problems with it. Even the president of the school board supported me 100%.

Melsuji: Heidi: Is there something going on between you and Rob?
Heidi: [laughs] I do not think so! Although I admire Rob's intelligence, I admire his sense of humor even more, and that's really what attracts me to a guy: his sense of humor.

kalekona: Were you surprised to find you and Jenna are so unpopular? And did you expect to be the favorites?
Heidi: I was surprised to find out that we were so unpopular, because throughout the game I was actually very well liked by a lot of people. I'm surprised it came across that I wasn't.

gretch53: Heidi, from how it appeared on the show, Jenna and you seemed to exclude Christy. Was that because of her hearing impairment, or did you just feel that she had nothing in common with you two?
Heidi: Definitely wasn't because of her hearing impairment. If anything, that made me want to be closer to her because I could learn from her. But she wanted nothing to do with me. From day one she told me that she didn't like pretty girls. I couldn't have won with her. Everything I tried to do, she just didn't like me. There was no way around it. At any time if one person could show a time when she was nice to me, I'd like to see it. Why is it my duty to be nice to her? She wasn't nice to me. Friendship is a two-way street; she was not willing to take that path.

Tulip: Heidi, why did you guys think Matt was so strange? He is so admirable on TV.
Heidi: I agree, Matt's very admirable on TV, and it's not that I think he's strange, it's that Matt is very intense, and being such an intense player, he's very mysterious. Being so mysterious...it's like, I wonder what's up your sleeve. It's strange. You're out there in the jungle, and with someone so mysterious, you start getting a little wary of them. But I very, very much admire Matt.

Craigen: I think the fire was set up, because it would have spread like a regular fire. I think it's all set up. Am I right?
Heidi: I'm sure the SURVIVOR crew didn't let it get out of control. With Alex, who always monitored the fire, being gone, it easily got out of control.

jennaalliance: Do you think the fire was Butch's fault?
Heidi: No, I definitely don't think it was Butch's fault. I could easily say it was my fault for not putting the fire out before we left. It could have been anybody's fault.

whatwereUthinking: How much do you think that they pay Jeff Probst for hosting and having to smell the Survivors?
Heidi: [laughs] I'm sure quite a bit, because all of us stunk really bad!
