SURVIVOR Host: If you're just joining us, we're chatting live with Survivor Shawna Mitchell. We'll get to as many of your questions as we can. Let's get started! Hey, Shawna!
Shawna: How's it going? Thanks for having me on!

SURVIVORFreak: Shawna, you had to be bummed getting voted off right after Alex got there and right after you started feeling better. What was going through your mind when Jeff read your name?
Shawna: Oh, well, I kinda knew it was coming, but it was just kind of a bummer to be tossed out. To tell you the truth, I kinda deserved to be, because I was definitely the weakest one out there.

Mommarabbit: Shawna, what was the first thing you did when you left the jungle?
Shawna: [laughs] I had three Snickers and a beer and just chilled on the beach and hung out with some excellent people. I think I actually drooled on the Snickers bar, it was so good! Then I spent the rest of the night throwing up.

SURVIVOR_Nut: Hi Shawna! What did the guys think of Jaburu's shelter when they first arrived at your camp?
Shawna: Oh, could anyone not think it was pathetic? I just felt terrible for them. I'm sure they just thought we were ridiculous, and I would've thought that too. They helped us out as much as they could. We didn't have a lot of resources where we were; it was kind of a meek shelter. The guys basically thought it was pathetic, and I would have to agree with them.

yupp: Did they try to rebuild your camp?
Shawna: Again, the guys tried to, but the resources were limited, so we decided that after about a half-day of building we thought it was good enough for what we needed. We didn't have to build a castle; it just had to protect us from basic wind.

I_AM_the_idol: Do you feel that Heidi and Jenna using their bodies to further themselves will hurt them in the long run?
Shawna: That's hard to say. I mean, Jenna and Heidi are smart girls, and if that's in their strategy, they probably know what they're doing.

vucrusader: Shawna, who do you think was the funniest guy out there?
Shawna: Oh, Rob, hands down! No question. He more than anyone else out there...I've never seen a more creative individual out there. His enthusiasm, his kindness and his individuality, his uniqueness was just infectious to the camp. I feel absolutely honored to have met him and he was one of the main reasons I was bummed for leaving. It really should've been SURVIVOR: Rob Cam. He's incredible.

bigsurvivorfan: I heard you on Howard Stern. Did you take your shirt off for $3000?
Shawna: Nooo, that's not a very classy thing to do! [laughs] I didn't do it because it didn't feel right, it didn't feel classy. I really dig Stern, but it's a little bit different than bathing in the Amazon.

bigsurvivorfan: How much money would it take for you to pose for Playboy?
Shawna: Uhhhhh....it depends on what they want me to do. I would have to do something classy there, and who knows how much that would take? It's negotiable. I'm pretty broke right now, but it would take a lot, though.

I_AM_the_idol: Did you approach Deena for an alliance, or vice versa?
Shawna: Deena and I by day 2 decided we were a good pair, and we kind of had each other's backs mutually. We both had the same sense of humor, and at that point when I was healthy, the same athletic drive. We just had good complimentary attributes. She was more of the team leader mentality, and I was more of her executer, I would do well in the Challenges. We thought we had a great chemistry, and we did, until I got sick.

Kingpin74: Shawna, was what you had with Alex real, or just a for-the-moment romance?
Shawna: When I was out there, it was for real. I don't think I've ever been so captivated by someone in such a short time. However, it's hard once the trappings of life are back in the equation. It's interesting to see how things pan out. I think we'll be friends for a long time.

vucrusader: Shawna, you and Alex make such a cute couple. Are you guys currently dating?
Shawna: Unfortunately, we're not able to hang out until the finale. They make sure all emotions are put on ice until we all meet up again.

lilkoala: Hi Shawna. Besides Alex, who were you the closest to, and why?
Shawna: Besides Alex, I'd say I was close to two people. I was close to Matt; he has one of the most genuine hearts out there in the game. He was the first person from the guy's tribe that I had a connection with. The two of us had a very close brother-sister type relationship that was just phenomenal to have out there. I trusted every last bit of him. The other person I was close to was Jenna, whom I absolutely adore. Even though she went against me twice, she was doing it for the game, and I don't hold any bitter feelings against her for that. She and I used to sit around and make each other laugh for hours at camp. She is a good friend.

danny: Shawna, was JoAnna really as annoying as we all think?
Shawna: JoAnna is a wonderful person. I can see how she can come off as annoying, and at first I was very overwhelmed by her, being the least religious person on the tribe and trying to understand the most religious. Given the chance, however, you'd find JoAnna to be nothing but an articulate, intelligent woman with good intentions. I just think she was misunderstood, and I adore her.
