"Include everyone. This is the time of year to be inclusive--not exclusive. And remember--champagne is beer for girls. This is our time of year--enjoy!"
Candace Bushnell is the best-selling author of Sex and the City, which spawned the hit TV series of the same name. Bushnell is also the author of the New York Times best-sellers Trading Up and Four Blondes. Dubbed "the Sharon Stone of journalism," Bushnell first put the singles scene into print as The New York Observer's resident "Sex and the City" columnist in 1994. Her writing introduced readers to "modelizers"--men who only date models, "toxic bachelors," and the women who are looking for Mr. Big. Writing the column meant spending up to six nights a week on the town with the social elite, from TriBeCa bars to summer homes in the Hamptons and ski resorts in Aspen.
