Candace Bushnell is the best-selling author of Sex and the City, which spawned the hit TV series of the same name. Bushnell is also the author of the New York Times best-sellers Trading Up and Four Blondes. Dubbed "the Sharon Stone of journalism," Bushnell first put the singles scene into print as The New York Observer's resident "Sex and the City" columnist in 1994. Her writing introduced readers to "modelizers"--men who only date models, "toxic bachelors," and the women who are looking for Mr. Big.
