Biography
Aaron Tveit (Gareth Ritter in BRAINDEAD) A popular Broadway actor, in recent years Aaron Tveit has transitioned to roles on television and film. In January 2016, he played Danny Zuko in the television event “Grease: Live.” Also, he starred in the series “Graceland,” had a recurring role on “Gossip Girl,” and guest-starred on the series THE GOOD WIFE on the Network, “Body of Proof,” “Ugly Betty” and “Law & Order: SVU.” Tveit appeared as Enjolras in the film adaptation of “Les Misérable,” opposite Hugh Jackman, Anne Hathaway and Russell Crowe. Other feature film credits include “Stereotypically You,” “Premium Rush,” “Undrafted,” “Big Sky,” “Howl” and “Ghost Town.” Tveit starred on Broadway in “Catch Me If You Can” in the role of Frank Abagnale, Jr. Also, he created the role of Gabe in the Pulitzer Prize-winning Broadway musical “Next To Normal,” for which he received the Helen Hayes Award for Outstanding Supporting Performance and the Actors Equity Association Clarence Derwent Award for Most Promising Actor. Other Broadway credits include “Wicked” and “Hairspray,” and the national tours of “Hairspray” and “Rent.” In May of 2013, Tveit sold out six cabaret shows in record time at NYC’s 54 Below.
